Join the MSF Online Journal Club this week on malaria
The next MSF Journal Club will take place on Wednesday, 27th August 2014 from 12-2pm GMT+1.
The journal club meets on Twitter via @MSFsci using the hashtag #MSFjc.
The session will be chaired by Dr Phillippe Guerin, Director of the WWARN, and will discuss the paper:
Polymorphisms in Plasmodium falciparum Chloroquine Resistance Transporter and Multidrug Resistance 1 Genes: Parasite Risk Factors that Affect Treatment Outcomes for P. falciparum Malaria after Artemether-Lumefantrine and Artesunate-Amodiaquine by Venkatesan et al. (2014), published online July 21, 2014, doi:10.4269/ajtmh.14-0031 by the American Journal of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene.
In preparation for the discussion you can access a short review of the paper by the MSF Journal Club coordinator.
The session will be moderated from 12-2pm GMT+1 but you can Tweet your comments and questions anytime before the journal club starts on Wednesday and up to 24 hours after (28th August). A Storify summary of the discussion will be made available after the event.
Remember to tag your tweets with the #MSFjc hashtag.
