Trokon joined the IDDO team in November 2018 as a curator. He has been extensively involved with public health data analysis through his management of the fatalities data during the Ebola crisis in Liberia, and now in his current role as Data Manager for the Infectious Disease and Epidemiology Division of the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL).

As Data Manager, he is the contact point for harmonising data across multiple sources and introducing electronic collection mechanisms for field data and is increasingly involved in efforts at interoperability and large-scale data curation. This led to answering critical clinical and public health interventions.

Additionally, to his role at NPHIL, he served as the Deputy Pillar Lead on the Epi-surveillance Pillar for the COVID-19 Emergency Response, where he contributed to the development, digitalization, and deployment of data collection tools, thereby yielding informative reports for decision-makers. His contribution reinforces the need to acquire a TDR Fellowship opportunity. Currently, he is a fellow at IDDO, focusing on COVID-19 and Ebola Virus Disease.
