Lawrence joined IDDO in May 2023 as a data manager for the Medicine Quality Research Group and the GRAM-2 project. He will also work across data management activities within IDDO. Lawrence’s role includes managing, transforming and curating clinical, epidemiological, microbiology and pharmacology data. He will also extract key study information from the study publication, study report or protocol and apply standardisation rules to this data among others.
Lawrence joined KEMRI/CDC in 2016 on an internship programme and was later employed as a data analyst in the Influenza Program. In June 2021, Lawrence joined the KEMRI Wellcome Trust Programme as a data manager until his appointment with IDDO.
Lawrence has a BSc. in Applied Statistics from Moi University (2016), Kenya and a MSc. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (awaiting graduation), Kenya.
