Have you read the WHO World Malaria Report?

The World Malaria Report 2013 summarizes data and analyses gathered from malaria-endemic countries, and other institutes. 

It highlights the remarkable progress made towards global malaria reduction targets identified for 2015, and summarises the current challenges for global malaria control and elimination, including antimalarial resistance (page xii)

Dr Margaret Chan, Director General of the WHO, highlights, "The report shows that increased political commitment and the expansion of global malaria investments since 2000 have led to major gains against this preventable disease, saving an estimated 3.3 million lives." 

The report was launched in Washington, DC on 11 December 2013.
