Hosts invited for 6th MIM Pan African Conference

The Multilateral Initiative on Malaria (MIM) is calling for applications to host the 6th Pan African Conference in 2013.  The event is the largest  gathering of the malaria community, with over 2500 participants at the last conference in Nairobi in 2009. This strong pull of researchers, program managers, bilateral and multilateral institutions facilitates discussions on malaria research issues, translation of research findings and the forging of new collaborations.

The conference will be held from 6-11 October 2011.  Applications are invited from individual institutions or consortia within Africa. Applicants are required to submit a one-page letter of intent to host the conference by 15 August, 2011 and a full proposal by 30 September 2011.
