Dr Jaime Altcheh is a paediatrician and parasitologist. During the last two decades, Jaime has worked in paediatric Chagas disease looking for better diagnosis tests, treatment response biomarkers and also the development of paediatric formulations of available drugs for Chagas diseases treatment. Jaime is the Director of the collaborating PAHO/WHO centre in paediatric Chagas disease.
