Our work

The WorldWide Antimalarial Resistance Network (WWARN) is IDDO’s malaria data hub, offering an extensive data repository, tools and resources, data visualisations, literature reviews and analytical resources to support malaria researchers. WWARN also brings together a global, collaborative research network to assess antimalarial drug efficacy, and provide policy makers with the evidence they need to plan effective health strategies.

WWARN's Research

WWARN’s work is divided into five main themes led by researchers working in regions most affected by malaria, and three supporting cross-theme activities. Those activities are coordinated by a steering committee, co-chaired by IDDO Director Professor Phillippe Guerin

WWARN’s activities are overseen by rotating cohort of international malaria experts that comprise the WWARN scientific advisory committee.
