Chagas Disease Study Groups
IDDO facilitates collaborative Study Groups to undertake individual patient data meta-analyses to answer specific research questions about Chagas Disease treatments. Gathering and combining datasets from multiple studies allows for the study of differential treatment effects across sub-populations of interest and helps to explore sources of between-study heterogeneity in therapeutic responses.
Working together, and combining data from different regions and populations, is improving our understanding of the disease, and will advance research and subsequent drug development.
